FLR(M) for an extension.Which visa application do I need to complete to renew the Spouse visa for another 2.5 years?
https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/partner-spouseCan you direct me to a guide on what evidences I need to prepare to submit for the visa renewal?
Ideally within 28 days of reaching 30 months since the date she entered the UK.My wife entered the UK on 07 September 2020 and the visa is expires 22 April 2023, does this mean I will be okay to submit the renew application around End of March/Early April (e.g. 01 April 2023)?
A2 for an extension but she can do B1 as this can then be used for ILR and Citizenship later. My wife did the a1 Life skills english test for the first visa. I think we now need the b1, is this correct? and which provider/exam do we need to take?
Thanks @CR001 ! We have too much going on at the moment, so I will choose to do A2 as it is probably more easier exam than B1.CR001 wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 9:46 amA2 for an extension but she can do B1 as this can then be used for ILR and Citizenship later. My wife did the a1 Life skills english test for the first visa. Covee wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 1:22 pmI'm getting confused over what time is best to apply for the spouse visa extension.
My wife entered the UK on 07 Sept 2020
I know that the advise is to ''apply within 28 days of reaching 30 months since the date she entered the UK"
My wife will reach 30 months in the UK on 07 March 2023.
Do I need to apply within 28 days before 07 March 2023, or within 28 days after 07 March 2023?
For example is it best for me to submit the application to extend spouse visa on 03 April 2023? Or should I submit it by start of March?
thanks
Merged as still your topic and relates to same circumstances and or application. Helps in having good picture overview to subsequent questions that arises.

Thanks @Vinny for your thoughts, this has really helped clear my confusion.vinny wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 12:35 amThere seems to be no advantage of extending too early, unless there is a fee raise. A disadvantage is that the period for applying for ILR is shorten the earlier you extend. Another disadvantage is that a refusal before expiry of leave means that Section 3C is not triggered at expiry of leave, if there is no pending in-time valid application, with overstaying consequences.
Extending after 07 March 2023 and before 5 April 2023 (to avoid a fee raise) may be better.
Correct yes.
