Post by bbr332 » Fri Aug 12, 2022 12:13 pm

Hi,
I have submitted my super priority application and BRP done on 3rd August, i was asked to submit additional docs which i did this Tuesday i.e 9th August. How long is the delay currently? Is there a email id i can use to chase my application?
Thanks

Super priority is not a guaranteed service. Your application will take longer if the caseworker cannot make a decision quickly or if they need more evidence. There may be checks and verifications required that can take longer. They will come back to you when they are done. Wait to hear back :!:

No one can tell you that. Your application is unique, so there is no fixed timeframe

Unfortunately, you can't force the process.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

You should not make arrangements for travel if your visa circumstances are uncertain. This should have to be communicated with work if necessary. Also, you may not get a BRP very quickly after ILR which could make things more complicated. Making assumptions about your immigration process is a mistake.
Contacting UKVI has no effect on your application. You will get a generic response, assuming you get one.

I also applied on the 4th august for priority service. They asked for a document that was already uploaded on the 9th august which was given to them again. There’s been no communication since and I had planned for holidays which is not out of the window.
I am also wondering if they respond over the weekends and also how long the delay could be - days or weeks

Submitting a new application when one is in progress

Post by bbr332 » Tue Aug 16, 2022 6:42 pm

Hi,

I have been waiting for my ilr decision for 2 weeks even though it was super priority. I genuinely need it , can I resubmit new application when this one is in progress?

No, You cannot have two applications. Also, what would that achieve ? Do you think UKVI just randomly has kept your application and making a new one will give a faster response ? The immigration system is NOT a lottery game. Wait to hear back. :!:
