Hi,
I came to the UK in 2013 to do my PhD, then left the country maybe a year or so before coming back here for my wife's PhD. The issue is, now we're getting a divorce, and I'm dependent on her visa. I have a job (work for a University), but it's a non-sponsor role. My ex-wife and I had 2 kids, one 7 and one 4 years old. The older one was born here in the UK but left when she was one and came back here again when she was two for her mother's PhD, so she has stayed in the UK for 6 years so far. The ex-wife wants to separate me from my daughters, so she has been doing everything to make me leave the country so I won't be able to see my daughters again.
In many years living in the UK, I have been a sound citizen, always got a decent job and never used public funds nor caused any trouble, but now I'm at risk of being kicked out of the country and won't ever see my daughters again. I'm so emotional right now and do not know what to do. I have already contacted the University where I worked and see what they could do, but it's implausible that anything positive could be from them. Hence, I'm wondering if anyone here could give me some advice or introduce me a solicitor who specialises in cases. Anywhere in the UK is fine, as I really need help. Thank you
