Hello,
I have submitted British Citizenship Application for my Kids and only after submission realised that there are 2 mistakes.
1. I have incorrectly given the Title as Mrs for my daughter instead of Miss.
2. They do not have surname on their passport and I leave it blank or NA during their previous Visa applications. But this time I have used the last name as surname.
I have not booked their Biometric appointment yet. Can I drop a cover letter stating the correction? Or is there any sperate email ID where I can drop an email? Request some urgent suggestions here please.
Thanks in advance
Regards
NK

Just attach a cover letter and explain this. I don't see any major issues with any of this.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Thanks Ticktack for your response. Will try this and see. Hope all goes well.
Also do I need to strike this in the application form and submit the scanned copy of the corrections along with Cover letter?
regards

No. This is a VERY minor mistake and won't have any effect on the application!

Just an update on my BC application for kids and a query.
I received an email today and both my kids will receive citizenship certificate in 5days time after which I have been told to apply for passport.
Thank you all for helping me with my queries.
One query that now I have is I am on vacation abroad and the email says, once I receive the certificate all other previous docments become invalid. This is a worry for me as I am travelling back to UK in 4 days time and I dont have my kids citizenship certificate in hand. Can i use my kids brp still to travel back? Will there be any problem or are there any other suggestions?
Appreciate if someone can reply as I have to travel in 4 days time. Apologies if this is in wrong forum but its really urgent.

For
practical purposes,
unexpired BRP holders may board a carrier and subsequently
enter the UK.

She will be eligible to apply in April 2022 or immediately after you become a British citizen, whichever happens sooner. She isn't eligible yet.

Thanks for quick response.
So when you say after I become citizen does that mean till I get the passport or will that be after I get the Certificate of Citizenship?

After you attend your citizenship ceremony. That's when you will be British.
She will need to provide your certificate of being naturalised as British or your British passport and your marriage certificate. If you want a British passport straight away after you naturalised you will need to send them the original of the certificate, so this is something to be mindful of.
