Applying for Visa from CoS Recieved

Post by RoseAlb » Sun Oct 09, 2022 1:36 pm

Kindly advice me on this.
1) I have recieved a defined CoS on 7th October, but start date is on 17th October. I will be applying for Visa on 28th October. And the process will take time.
Will this affect my Visa application ?

2) On my Offer letter my role says Care worker and on CoS it's mentioned as Care Assistant.
SOC - 6145
What must I write on my Visa application ?

Error in the name of applicant on CoS

Post by RoseAlb » Mon Oct 10, 2022 4:12 pm

Hi All,
I need assistance on this one. The CoS issued by my employer had errors in my First name and Surname. My employer has added the correction in sponsor note. However the name with error is still visible.

Is it okay for me to apply with this CoS ?
Truly appreciate your response.
Thank you

Visa Application type query

Post by RoseAlb » Mon Oct 10, 2022 4:15 pm

I need assistance on confirming my visa type on my Application draft.
The Application draft shows 'Skilled Worker Visa' in type of application.
Does it have to show Health and Care worker Visa instead ? SOC is 6145
Does it mean my agent chose the wrong route while filling the application ?

Will I be able to fill another Application as this one is not yet submitted ?
This is just a draft.

Please guide me.
Thank you in advance.

It's fine. A cos cannot be amended once assigned. A sponsor note is sufficient

You are eligible for a health and care visa on basis of your SOC code and that is what you should be applying for. Presumably your employer is an approved H&C employer.

. A mistyped name can be amended but if there is more than one error in tersonal details, normally a new CoS will need to be assigned.

I have now gone ahead to apply for the visa, but while doing the payment at world pay, my payment shows pending. Amount not deducted, no OTP code for payment.
After logging in and out, it's showing the same.
I'm worried if the payment status doesn't change, Will I be able to make another application with the same CoS number ?
Please, need your advice as I'm worried over this situation I'm in.
