ILR application date

Hi I am new to this forum. I have 2 questions.

1 - I have doubt of when I should submit my ILR Application.
Is it my Entry clearance date ( stamped on my passport, for my first time visit to UK) - 28 days ?
2- If everything goes well, I will have my ILR on 5th December. I am getting a baby on 15 December.
Am I eligible to apply for a British passport for my baby ?

Your baby will be automatically British if you are granted ILR before they are born, but this will depend on application processing times as well as your eligibility.

My Entry clearance date stamped on the passport is 25/12/2017 till 24/01/2018.
I entered UK on 18 / 01/2018.
My BRP Validity shows : 29/12/2017 till 21/01/2023

2- If everything goes well, I will have my ILR on 5th December ( example) . I am getting a baby on 15 December.

I have Tier2 General Visa and i am from India.

You can apply for ILR no sooner than within 28 days before 25th December 2022.
