Just the degree won't cut it.If your degree is not from a UK university you’ll need:
a copy of your degree certificate
an Academic Qualification Level Statement (AQUALS) from Ecctis (formerly UK NARIC) confirming the degree is equivalent to a UK qualification.
Applying for citizenship
You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if you’re applying for citizenship and it was accepted when you settled in the UK.
You can reuse the Trinity College SELT test you took for ILR.lakhanarayana wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 10:55 pmHi All,
I'm an India citizen and hold an ILR (issued on 18th Sept 2020). For ILR application, to prove English Language Proficiency, i took a test (the Trinity College one). I have a Prost Graduate Diploma (a little below Master's level) from New Zealand. I did not want to take any chances by giving by New Zealand Degree. Hence, i took the test.
Now, i'm going to apply for my Naturalisation. This time around, i would like to use my NZ degree as a way to prove my English Proficiency. Can you confirm if it is ok to do this?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Just use the TCL B1 test you used previously for your successful ILR application.lakhanarayana wrote: ↑Sun Oct 23, 2022 10:55 pmHi All,

You can use an expired test if you have used it for a previous application AND it is still a UKVI approved test and test provider.lakhanarayana wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 2:07 pmthanks all for your advise. The test which i took for ILR has expired. Does it mean it is better to take the test rather than the NZ degree??
