MN1 Enquiry

Post by prana72009 » Fri Nov 11, 2022 9:07 pm

Hi All,

I am trying to submit online MN1 for my child(under 18). I am on the Documents checklist page. There are few documents I am not sure if I need to provide as letter format ?
  • Proof of Mr XXXX parental responsibility for Mr YYYY.
  • A letter of consent from Mr YYYY. parent(s) or legal guardian(s)
  • Two referee declarations for Mr YYYY.
Is any one have format or sample letter ?

Thanks

Birth certificate
The consent letter & referee declarations should be available to download when you complete the app

I have asked my kids school and they have given me generic details(like ‪admin details ), not person specific. I don't know if details are not person specific. Will the home office accept as valid referee. I am doubt they may refuse to given the referee dare of birth.

Does anyone know if i can put some random dates in the form ?

The referee has to be a specific named person. It cannot apply be generic.

Not sure what you mean by putting in random dates?? You cannot lie on the form.

Thanks CR.

I am having hard time with the school.

They said they can't give name. Use the generic details if Home Office ask anything about child they will respond accordingly.

Thanks

Find another referee. You cannot use generic information. It has to be a named person!

I am filling the application form and they haven’t asked anything about settled parent details.

How would they know if parent are settled ? Or am I missing something?

Thanks

Hi,

I am not sure if anyone come across with the situation.

For my 2 yrs old kids GP refused to give reference. She doesn't go to nursery. I am not sure what i can do for the reference. I have one reference from my work colleague.

Anyone can advise what should i do in the situation ?

Thanks

You can use "normal" referees required for adults (they must know you!) and explain in a covering note that you haven't been able to get the GP to sign as referee. It is a common problem and UKVI are aware of this. For reference here's the referee form: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 2-2020.pdf

I will Be submitting the kids application soon.

But their current visa expiring in Feb. If I can’t get the decision before Feb should I need to extend the visa for kids?

Thanks

If the child is UK born, no you do not need to extend their visa.
