Thanks very much for your response alterhase58. We did speak to the university and they said they can't do anything about it and that we may have to get it notarised in this instance.alterhase58 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 10:15 amDon't think that will be an issue.
Note also that the naturalisation certificate will be issued with "surname 1st name 2nd name".
If you are still concerned you are free to enclose an explanatory note.
Note that applications are generally only rejected for very specific issues, mainly not complying with statutory requirements.
Thanks both for your advice. that is very helpful to know.alterhase58 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 1:09 pmNote that applications are generally only rejected for very specific issues, mainly not complying with statutory requirements.
Not for minor inconsistencies or mistakes.

My concern is if she has to also have been a UK resident in the last three years since we have to include her addresses in the application form?
Thanks very much AmazonianX! Also, the professional referee has been an ACCA accountant only for the past six months. I'm assuming this wouldn't be an issue?AmazonianX wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 12:42 pmThere is no requirement of her being resident for 3yrs.mss9025 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 04, 2023 11:46 amThanks alterhase58. It should not be an issue. No mention of duration referee attained professional status.mss9025 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 7:27 pmThanks very much AmazonianX!
