For your UK born child, your ILR is the relevant status that makes them entitled to register as British. You becoming British is irrelevant to this.
No, you select the "Other" options, I believe the last one on the list, and is a Section 3(1) registration, at discretion. You are not yet British as you have not attended the ceremony. The option you quote above is if the child is applying at the same time as you.
