which route.. Help??

Post by Kaley » Sat Mar 11, 2023 9:12 am

HI

I have my mum in UK as Visitor visa. 180 days limit is this month 24th March. She has visitor visa until 19th April. She is also green card holder of USA and travel to UK from USA. She was staying with my elder brother in US, now he has rejected her. He is not willing to take her back and ignoring all my message and call. I have book her flight back to USA but there is no one for her. I cannot send her like this. She also cannot go back to our original home country in Asia as we have no one there.

What are my options to keep my mum with me?

Apply based on humanitarian issue?
Apply for Adult dependent visa?

Please suggest me

Thanks

You have been advised multiple times about this already. Nothing has changed in the advice.

Your previous posts suggest you are from Nepal. Simply 'not having anyone there' is not relevant. She has a green card and could return to the US.

But she has always depend on somebody to live in USA, She cannot live on her own. Now there is no one to take care of her, isn't this enough for change in situation? Isn't this getting more as humanitarian issue?

Being a lawful permanent resident of a third country and more specifically in the US, I doubt any humanitarian application would be successful. And I can suspect the same outcome will be if you try applying for a dependent visa for her.

You have got no grounds for humanitarian issue considerations, USA is a place of stay.
