PBS dependent child visa processed from India

Post by rajeshkotyada » Wed Apr 12, 2023 7:58 pm

My kids was born in UK in Sep-2022 and travelled to India in Nov-2022 without UK Visa.we have applied her dependent visa in Hyd-India for 5 years (main applicant has visa till Mar-2027) on 16-Dec-2022, But we had received partial IHS refund on 20th Dec 2022 and passport with 3 months visa. There was no decision email and no BRP collection letter.

We have raised an escalation request asking below
with UKVI on 17th Jan 2023.

1) why she was given visa for 3 months where we applied for 5 years
2) what's the decision on the application
3) would they refund my application fee?

We waited for 15 days to hear some update from UKVI or home office and to my disappointment there wasn't any.
Again we raised another escalation on 14th Feb, 07th Mar and 28th Mar. Till now there is no response or update from UKVI or Home office. Everytime they say we are raising the escalation request and you will get an update in next 15 days.
My kids visa is expiring on 1st May 2023, not sure what we do.

I can submit new application but what if i get visa again for 3 month as I might be repeating same mistake as earlier application which is unknown to me.

Any lead or suggestions are much appreciated.

The 90 day visa in the passport is to facilitate entry to the UK. The passport is NOT stamped with a 5 year visa.

You will need to collect the BRP card in the UK at the Post office you stated in the form if it was asked.

Have you checked your emails for a UKVI email, in the inbox and junk mail folder?

What visa does your spouse hold?

We didn't get any BRP collection letter, so cannot collect any BRP. However I tried checking in post office but it was not available.

My spouse is on skilled worker visa and she is the main applicant
