Hello,
I am submitting an ONLINE application for naturalisation and have a couple of questions:
(1) Will I need to send my foreign passport and BRP? I ask because i need to travel after the application and both these would be needed for travel.
(2) I did an Ecctis assessment for English requirement when I applied for my ILR but can't seem to locate a copy of the assessment. Is the copy required required with the application?
Thank you very much in advance.

1. No. All documents are uploaded digitally. Nothing is sent to ukvi in original format.
2. Probably will be required or the checklist asks for it

Thank you very much for the quick response. Just one more quick question. I am travelling outside UK on mid of July. Is it safe to apply now knowing that i will need to attend biometrics appointment? Will home office give me a date surely within 45 days of submitting the application or is there a risk that the date might be delayed and may fall within my (almost 2 month) holiday period?
Thanks again!

You are free to travel.
Home Office doesn't 'give you a date'. You log into UKCVAS and book the appointment yourself. You have to enroll biometrics within 45 days after submitting the application.

Great, thanks again. Is it possible to check the availability of dates before submitting the application? Or will that option open only after i have submitted the application?
Do you know if people currently are finding any problems getting appointments within 45 day window?
Thank you

Hello,
Thank you everyone for the help so far, it’s greatly appreciated. I have one more query please. I have paid some fines (parking and driving related) in last 3-4 years which I don’t have record of. I remember what they were for and approximate location of offences but don’t remember date or year of offences or even the amounts. I have 3 such cases to mention. Which part of the form AN I should mention those in? I know I cannot mentioned under driving offences because it asks me for the date of offence which I don’t remember.
Thanks again!

Hello team,
I have a couple of questions regarding supporting documents to prove residence for 5 years for an online AN application:
(1) If i use my bank statements, bank only provides a monthly statement. Would I need to upload all 60 (5 years x 12 months for each year) statements to support my residence for 5 years?
(2) If I rather attach passport copies, do i need to provide a copy of all the pages - even blank ones ? I have 2 passports which will cover last 5 years (my passport got renewed in 2021), so that will be a lot of pages - almost 72 pages in total). I wonder if the case worker would have the patience to look into each and every page and also each and every stamp to work out my residence.
(3) I have P60 for last 5 years but the guidance seems to imply that the case worker might still need additional documentation if i provide P60s.
(4) I have the tenancy agreements but the proof pf payment of rent would again require 60 bank statements.
Can anyone guide me what might be most efficient but still appropriate for the application.
As always appreciate the help. Thank you

Council tax bills are for the whole year. Why don't you use 5 of them?

P60s are fine. Caseworkers can ask for additional information on any aspect of the application but you don’t need to bombard them with documents…. P60s and council bills are commonly used without issue.
1
Bank statements are not necessary
4
Not required
2
Scan only bio and stamped pages
Note the application only requires a minimum of documents.

Thank you for the response.
3. I don't have a record of my annual council bills. Will P60s be sufficient on their own?
2. Sorry what do you mean by the "bio" on passport? Is it the front and back pages of the passport?
Can I just submit the passport copies. Do you think they will suffice?

Bio means the pages showing personal details.

I may have misunderstood something ... you have ILR under UK immigration regulations? - in that case passport(s) for the residency period are sufficient. Normally only EU citizens and their non-EU family members need to provide additional residency proof as their passports don't get stamped on entry to the UK.

Thank you so very much, I really appreciate the help of everyone. I have submitted my application now.
However in the next step, while booking a biometrics appointment it is asking me to pay £417 for 3 applicants. I chose a normal centre, NOT a premium one. I thought on the government website it said that there is no fee for the biometrics appointment. I checked all available dates in 3 centres near me and they are all asking for money for any available slots.
Am i missing something?
Thanks again!

There is what is called free appointment and this is scarce. Most appointments are paid for.
