Applying for spouse naturalisation

Post by kailashkumar » Mon May 15, 2023 1:14 pm

Hi,
I have got my naturalisation based on ILR (on the basis of spending 5 years) + 12 months (Tier 2 General visa). My spouse has already got ILR based on 5 years route. I am looking to apply for spouse naturalisation. MY query is can I apply my spouse naturalisation as soon as I have received my naturalisation certificate (after oath ceremony) or do I need to wait until I have received my British passport?

Thanks

Once you get your certificate and have atrednded rhe oat ceremony is when you become British. She can apply if she meets the requirements

A passport is a travel document.
