Dear members,
I am on a Skilled Worker Visa and I will apply for ILR in July 2023. My wife has been in the UK for around 1 year with Skilled Worker Dependant Visa and her visa is valid until October 2024. She is not eligible for ILR yet.
I wondered if my wife needs to apply with me for an extension/renewal when I apply for ILR in July 2023 or is it not needed as her visa will be valid until October 2024? If main applicant applies for an ILR visa, what does the dependant need to do if she has a valid dependant visa until October 2024?
If you can advise, i appreciate

She does not need to apply with you.
Make application for extension as dependent of you on SWV (even if you now have ILR) just before her current leave expires.

No action required.
If she switches to spouse visa as you get ILR her clock will reset to zero.
