Your supporting documents must be dated on or before the date you apply online, which is the application date. The biometric appointment is irrelevant to this.I guess I need to head down to a branch to get them to print and stamp the last month, right? Just sanity checking.
You need complete monthly bank statements, not just 'deposits to your account on a single sheet'. Why not simply download online bank statement, they are accepted. Also, while I'm there can I get them to just print all deposits to my account for the last 6 months? Would that single printout be acceptable to HO? That would save me a ton of scanning!
Thank you, this helps a lot for the original question!Your supporting documents must be dated on or before the date you apply online, which is the application date. The biometric appointment is irrelevant to this.
I did initially get the online statements, however...Why not simply download online bank statement, they are accepted.
So wouldn't I have to go to the bank to get such a letter if I used online statements?Bank statements must be on official bank stationery. Alternatively, electronic bank
statements can also be accepted for all bank accounts (the account itself does not
have to be exclusively online) as long as they are either accompanied by a letter
from the bank on its headed stationery confirming that the documents are authentic
or which bear the official stamp of the issuing bank on every page.
If they look the same as what you would have received by post, then no you do not need a letter or bank stamp. So wouldn't I have to go to the bank to get such a letter if I used online statements?
