Elderly parent visa for mother

Post by Quickresponse » Fri Jul 07, 2023 11:22 am

Hello

I am applying for my mother, I am struggling to get proof of relationship, I don’t have birth certificate, what can I do in this position? Thinking to offer DNA Test to home office if required.

Please help :)

How does she qualify for this visa?

How old is she?

Do you realise it is the most difficult visa to get and if you risk it and it is refused, which is highly likely, it shuts the door to any future visitor visas for her to the UK.

Your previous posts suggest she has a refugee protection visa in Turkey.

Yes turkey refugee protection visa, as she is on refugee visa we can’t apply any other visas like visitor visa for her, she is 76.

Sure, you may include DNA tests. However, sometimes they may be inconclusive.

I think there’s no harm in including any documents that may help as proof of relationship. What documents do you have?

Adult dependent relative for mother

Post by Quickresponse » Wed Jul 10, 2024 5:03 pm

Hello everyone

Thank you in advance :)

I have a quick question, I have applied adult dependent visa for my mother, home office refused, I have challenged in court and ask home office to review again.

the timeline for their response has passed, so I made a application to court to ask home office to respond, court deadline to home office has just passed with no response from home office, what can I do next ? What is the procedure further by the court ?

Thank you 😊
