ILR Dependents Visa Extension(Spouse and Son)

Hi Team,

I got ILR in 2021 with my ILR application status I applied family spouse and son dependent visa, which in due in October. Need help please on below queries.

1. How to apply extension/which visa application?
2. Do i need to include my wife and son into one application or different application on both? ( note: my wife got 1st visa for 2.5 yr and my son got 2 yr)
3. What document i required?
4. How many days before i should drop application from their visa expired date?

Please help with the correct information, that will be a great help.

If you applied for your family after you gained ILR, then your dependants would have a Spouse/CP engraved on their BRP.
If their visas are due in October, you've not mentioned the date they actually entered the UK. So safer to apply in mid-late September.
You can actually apply anytime before the visa expiry, but not too early.

Thank you for the reply. On my wife brp its came as spouse/partner leave to remain and on my son its came as Leave to remain.

which application i need to fill in for extension and what document i need to submit with application?

Thank you for your reply. The 1st visa applied for my spouse under family route and my son visa vignette says, CHILD APP FM(Standard) visa. So, for extension now i need to go with Family visa or FLR(M) visa application? Are family visa and FLR(M) 2 different visa applications?

There is no such visa category as "Family visa ". It is a spouse or child settlement visa.

FLR(M) is the correct form to use for your spouse and child.

Husband is on ILR status(got ILR status under ICT 10 yr route). applying for wife and son extension to stay in UK as dependent on Husband.
