Foreign Nationality Acquisition Date in surrender Indian passport application form

Hi,

My child had RoA (Right of Abode) previously endorsed on his Indian passport and but now we got his UK passport. While filling up application to surrender Indian passport, there is a question on Foreign Nationality Acquisition Date. I wanted to know whether it should be his date of birth or it should be the date when he got his UK passport.

If he is british by birth, then it is date of birth.
