Financial requirement for spouse Visa

Post by mohsinhussain582 » Fri Dec 15, 2023 1:56 am

Hello I am new here I recently got married also I was unemployed after I got back from abroad. Since September I had 2 jobs, first job was Amazon but I had foot injury where I had to leave the job because of it. Got another job in same month but left as I didn’t pass the probation. Now I’m in my third job but I have payslips from the previous jobs. Can I add the previous jobs payslips together with this job and use it for the visa application? Will that be possible to do? I am new for these types of things I don’t have that much knowledge on these things. Also as of spring 2024 the rules will change. Does my payslips should add to £37,800? Otherwise do the payslips just have to be 6 months without adding it adding to £37,800? I need help on this thank you very much.

You need a stable job to be able to make the application. Check the rules and requirements first.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

You can submit 6 months of pay slips as long as they amount to at least 50% of the required amount.

I know it’s 6 months of payslips but how much is the amount I shall be showing to them? For example is it half of £18,600?

You need a minimum of £1550 per month, for 6 months to meet the financial requirement. This is the amount BEFORE deductions, so the Gross pay.

Page 23 of the Appendix 1.7 is what you need to read.

You can’t meet the requirements and therefore you will not be able to bring your spouse to the U.K.

Can you please start your own topic instead of tagging onto other members topics. It is considered rude and is unfair to members.
