I got an ILR i want to bring my son from Turkey he is 14 years old is the right application shows appendix FM

Should i apply from this link through ?

my child is making application from Turkey so the link is valid for UK applications which form i need to fill to bring my son to UK. I have ILR last 10 years.

Where is the child's other parent?

She is in Turkey. I live in the United Kingdom

Is she also applying for a visa to come to the UK?

Are you named as the father on the birth certificate issued at birth?

It is unlikely that the child will get a visa if the other parent is not also applying. You would need to prove sole responsibility with official documents to bring a child without the other parent. If you need the mothers permission, then you do not have sole responsibility.

Thanks for reply my wife is Turkey our marriage is still going but she doesn't want to come to the UK so i want my son to live with me here i work and live in the UK so i will be having responsibility in here when my son arrives is that count sole responsibility if we get a letter from my wife regarding that is it helpful ?

You need to demonstrate you have sole parental responsibility as advised otherwise the child cannot get a visa. Proving that you have sole parental responsibility very much depends on your circumstances. Children normally are expected to follow the immigration path of the less privileged parent.

Following are some of the factors that will be considered in assessing sole responsibility:

•Whether the parents are married/in a civil partnership
•If the marriage/civil partnership is dissolved – which parent was awarded legal custody
•If the sponsoring parent has migrated to the UK – how long have they been separated from the child and what relationship they have with the child
•If the sponsoring parent has migrated to the UK, the nature of the child’s care arrangements before and after they migrated
•Who bears the child’s maintenance costs and at what proportion
•Who makes the important decisions about the child’s upbringing, for example, where the child lives, which school they attend, etc

Thanks for your reply now we have decided to bring my wife to UK as well so sole-responsibility problem is no longer exist right if they apply my wife and my son both to arrive to UK?

Correct. If you apply together, then there are no issues
