Regarding 'Immigration Details'

Post by awesomeagni » Tue Jan 09, 2024 11:11 am

Hello,

My question is regarding 'Immigration Details'.
I had come to the UK on a 'Tier 2 General' work permit.
Had got my ILR in October 2020.
Am applying for citizenship now.

On the application form, for the 'Immigration Details' question - I have provided the details of the ILR on the form (as in date of application/date of biometric etc), do I have to provide the details of the Tier 2 application as well?

Thanks in advance.

Proof of residency - Passport and P60

Post by awesomeagni » Tue Jan 09, 2024 11:52 am

Hello,

I had arrived in the UK in 2015 (on a Tier 2 General visa). And have been employed all the way through.
I have lived at 2 different places during the last 5 years.
For the current place, I have all the utility bills etc, but not for the previous place.

So to prove residency, is Passport (with entry stamps) and P60 covering the 5 years (which has address of the previous place) be enough?
Could/Should any other documents be provided (such as bank statements), in order to prove residency?

Thanks in advance.

Your passport is sufficient, no other documents (statements or utility bills are not accepted).
There's no requirement to prove your addresses.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
