What??My son was a war during application.
The fee for ILR is the same for everyone, regardless of age. If he was under 18, it would still be the same fee as an adult.Cost wise there is no dfference since he is 18+ he will pay normal fee..
It would have been simpler to add him to your spouse's Set(M) form as a dependent. There was no need to apply for him separately. Also I will use most of the documents for my son. Is it adisadvantage?

Thanks I've already check set(o). in Gov side you have the following
Tier 1 or Global Talent dependants
Tier 1 migrant
Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson dependant
Skilled Worker, Tier 2 or International Sportsperson
Bereaved partner
Representative of an overseas business
UK ancestry
Global talent
Hong Kong British National (Overseas) (BN(O))
Domestic worker in a private household
Afghan Resettlement
Adult Dependent Relative (family route)
Other purposes or reasons not covered by other application forms
Which one is relevan for my adult son?
Thanks
Only children born in the UK are entitled to do that !Denizok wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 1:24 pmVERY INTERESTING
I called Home office help line explained the situation Thsi was what I was told:
During the time of applying 5 (years ago) he was under 18(child) since both parents currently have ILR he can apply to citizenship?
This is interesting...Have you experiencse danything like this my case?
No. There is no such entitlement to citizenship.
No he cannot. He needs ilr first and hold ilr for 12 months before he can apply for citizenship as he is over 18.Can he apply citizenship?
All you need to know is provided above !Denizok wrote: ↑Fri Apr 26, 2024 4:26 pmHi Zimba:
I was given worn information on the help line of GOV 0300 790 6268.
I asked her whichILR form to use SET(m), SET (O)or SET(F) for 18+ son, spend last 5 years under famiy 5 years route. ALso told her that in any of the forms not sutible option for him. She said of no options because your son can apply citizenship straight away. Ridiculous...
Earlier on you told me to use set(o) even thougt it does not have suitable category option for use
and ask me to use the following option:
''Other purposes or reasons not covered by other application forms''
I will go with this am I right?
Thnaks
SET(O) as I explained above. Why is this now have to be repeated over and over and over again here ??
