Hi can someone please guide me. I am writing on behalf of my mom, we came on visitor visa to the UK in July 2005 the overstayed due to circumstances. Me and brother both now have our ILR granted after going through the process of leave to remain for 5 years for staying more than half of our lives in the UK from 18-24 years. Now the issue is my mother I understand that the long residence rule is after completing 20 years but we had some family issues so we did her application earlier. She had her Application paid on 26 January 24, Documents were uploaded online on 4 Feb 24 and she had her Biometrics taken on14 Feb (non- priority). We haven’t had any reply yet. I’m trying to be optimistic we have attached trail of evidence such as personal statement, statements from family, friends, health record, yearly record of letters, bills, children’s school letters etc. i mean offcourse I’m not a child now I am 32 years old. Only thing didn’t have was any evidence in 2005 other than passport copy and visa copy then evidence paper trail begins from late 2006. Any idea guys? I believe the waiting time is 3-6 months. Fingers crossed my mother has worked so hard & made so many sacrifices I am just hoping it’s all positive and they don’t take the time as a drawback only because 20 years aren’t completeld. However whilst waiting in July 19 years are now completed. Any feedback would be great. Thank you
