ILR - When switched 3 sponsors in 5 years time

Post by Samilokeg » Mon Jul 08, 2024 4:55 pm

Hi,

I have been working on Tier-2 General Skilled visa from July 2019. So it has been 5 years since then but I have switched my job and visa twice after that. which means I have had total 3 sponsors in last 5 years. There had never been any gap in visas as always had previous visa valid for months after new visa start date.
Do I have to provide all visa details for my ILR applications or only first and current one? If yes, what should be those details. OR do I have to provide proof of employment for all 5 years? Please help.

Evidence is only needed from the current sponsor. You do not need to provide proof of anything. UKVI knows when, why and how you were granted leave

All you need to know about the sponsor letter for Skilled Worker route

@zimba
Also, I am into just 3 months in my current job and I have never been on any unpaid holidays /absences in this or any of my previous jobs. As I am with my current sponsor for just 3 months , do I have to take letter from previous employers (for employment or holidays?)

Hi @Zimba,
Sorry , I missed the link in earlier comment. it is clear now. Also,I understand acceptable gap between sponsorship is now 60 days? I have 1 month gap between end of employement of previous employer and COS date of next employer. Hope this should not be a problem and 1 month is still counted towards the 5 years duration?

The gaps do NOT matter at all. The whole 60-day limit was removed from the rules many years ago.
