while noting your academic and publications track record to date, they commented that your record was good but not exceptional. Overall, the independent expert reviewers and the panel Chair considered that your application did not yet show the markers of exceptional promise and that it did not demonstrate clear and unequivocal evidence of potential for leadership in your field, as required under the assessment criteria for the Exceptional Promise category of the Peer Review route of the Global Talent visa - and outlined above.
In summary, the reviewers considered that there was insufficient evidence within your application to suggest that you could be recognized as having exceptional promise and having the potential to be a future leader in your field and that your track record, career history and contributions to the field to date were not strong enough to merit endorsement for entry through the Global Talent (Exceptional Promise) route.

would you mind sharing more details of your application such as the endorsing body, your field, how long it took to receive the decision from the date you submitted your application, how long ago you received your PhD, was your recommender a senior eminent person (e.g. full professor, head of department) or not?

Thank you for sharing the details. I myself am nervously waiting for a decision from the Royal Academy of Engineering as it is approaching the fourth week since I submitted application and am pessimistically expecting to receive a decision letter such as yours (i.e. one emphasizing on insufficient track record and contributions). In my opinion, as it is only one year since your PhD probably the reviewers have thought that you haven't had enough time to accomplish the contributions they have in mind, though I'm not sure what that bar is in Mathematics. From what I have read and learned, you can't submit new evidence in your appeal but have to maneuver on points in your resume/contributions that you believe distinguish your resume and are of exceptional quality, perhaps justifying that these contributions were not taken into account properly by the reviewers when reviewing your application. Again based on what I have seen so far from people who have successfully appealed, one might consider the situation as when your paper is not accepted by one journal due to negative reviews but is accepted in another due to different perspective of reviewers, so maybe by addressing their comments through emphasizing on your exceptional contributions, and getting lucky with the reviewers in the appeal round (I think I read somewhere that the reviewers would not be the same) you could get a positive decision in your appeal. Good luck.

Thank you so much.
But I'll be grateful if I can get such a copy of the appeal.
Thank you.
