Salary increment after 1 year tenure - Impact on ILR application

Post by lebchar » Sat Sep 07, 2024 2:17 pm

First of all I want to thank all the gurus here, I have been following your guidance which helped me in understanding basically everything required to have my SET (O) application ready based on combination of Tier2 Gen and SW visa with a 5 year lawful continuous residency.

But I am worried because I had a salary review (related to yearly performance review after 1 year tenure with my current employer) and subsequently my salary was increased, and with that increment I am now right above the required salary for ILR eligibility. I've seen many people here saying that this would be an issue as it might be considered as an attempt to exploit the immigration system but in my case it just happened naturally due to yearly review. Is this something I should be worried about? Do I need to upload the contract addendum that I received stating that my salary has increased based on my performance review?

Any comment and views on this would be highly appreciated.
