Application date vs submission date ?

Post by Meeee » Sun Oct 20, 2024 8:44 pm

In order to apply for the unmarried partner visa, I need 6 months bank statements that meet the requirement-

I need to apply for the visa by the end of January but will only have the 6th bank statement/payslip at the end of February- am I able to submit my online application end of January but only attend a biometric appointment and submit my documents once I have the final documents?

Additionally I went from earning a daily rate to salaried, is there a way to calculate if I meet the requirements based on both ?

Your supporting documents must be dated on or before the date you submit and pay online. Why can you not get a print out up to the date you apply? Why do you have to wait till end of Feb for a bank statement?

Who is applying for a visa? Your previous posts suggest you were applying for ilr?

Apologies if I have not explained this properly.

I’m looking to apply for an umarried partner visa for my partner now that I have ILR- he has been working in his role for more than 6 months but initially he was being paid on a daily rate and not salaried. Since September he is being paid a salary but he would only hit 6 months in a salaried role end of February/ beginning of March but we would need to apply for his visa before that due to his current visa expiring end of January.

I hope that makes a bit more sense- would we still be able to apply but submit the documents once we have them?

We believe we meet the financial requirement under Category A. Since completing my studies, I have transitioned from 2 Days a week to a full work week but receiving variable pay. Over the past 6 months my average earnings have been 913.88 and when annualised this comes up to 10966. partner currently earns a basic salary of £23,400 annually, bringing our combined annual income to £34366, well above the £29,000 requirement.

Month Earnings
May 1950.67
June 1950.67
July 1950.67
August 1950.67
September 1950.67
October 1950.67
Total 11704

May. 500.00
June 333.00
July 500.00
August 400.00
September 1875.00
October 1875.00
Total 5488

How would we answer the question: what do you earn?

Options being -
1.The same amount continuously, above the financial requirement amount
2.Not the same amount continuously, above the financial requirement amount
3. The same amount continuously, below the financial requirement
4. Not the same amount continuously, below the financial requirement

Thank you

Issue with payslip/ employment letter

Post by Meeee » Sun Dec 01, 2024 9:48 pm

Hello,
I’m currently applying for a unmarried partner and in the beginning of my employment, I was only working a couple of days a week - my payslip states I was being paid at a weekly rate but the employment letter provided states I was being paid at a daily rate, will this be an issue?

Unmarried partner

Post by Meeee » Fri Dec 06, 2024 4:36 pm

Good day,

My partner and I recently applied for the unmarried partner visa. We have been together for 5 years and haven’t lived together due to him studying in a different city and then finding a job in another city. We would like to live together but with the uncertainty of him being in the Uk, it wasn’t an option. We both needed these jobs in separate cities to meet the financial requirements. Unfortunately we were refused due to not living together. It was our understanding that this was not necessary and are completely shocked by this outcome. Would anyone be able to shed some light on this and let us know what we could do in this situation?
Please let me know if you have any further questions
