Hi , please I need some advice , to apply for citizenship uk
I have 210 days outside uk and my settled status approved,
I want apply for citizenship uk can effect my application , because in citizenship application i need to mention date for all traveling outsider uk
And I have debt from dwp I ready paid did I need to mention date?

You need to be more specific - 210 days over the residency period or the last 12 months from application date?
What is the problem with listing the travel dates? It's required for the application.
What is the background to the DWP debt? Universal Credit over payments? If it's just part of the regular UC over/underpayments shouldn't be an issue, or have you claimed when you weren't entitled?

Hi,
210 days in residency period
And debt overpayment for universal credit because I get universal credit in covid19 period after my mother died and was traveled with last plane to my country and I stacked there for 7 months because all airports closed in pandemic

You should repay any debts with DWP before applying for sure. 210 days of absences overall is not an issue if those are all the absences you have - it needs to be less than 450 days in 5 years or 270 days in 3 years (if married to a British citizen) and for all cases less than 90 days in the last 12 months leading to the application. What are your absences during the full qualifying period?

I have just 310 days all last 5 years period
But did I need to mention about debt dwp it in my application??

1- Have you paid it back?
2- Have you been summoned to court or given a fine because of it?

If the answer to 1 is Yes and to 2 is No, you will be fine without mentioning it.

I have all 314 days outside uk including 210 days
I got my settled status but I thinking when I apply for citizenship the HO can see that
I am confused, please I need some advice

Did you receive a written warning? did you pay a fine?

How many absences did you total in the 5 years of qualifying period? 314 or 210? Either way you are under the total of 450 days. Make sure you also respect the requirement about the final 12 months - you can't have spent more than 90 days in the last year leading to the application.


They usually assume that your ILR is OK but I don't know if they look into that or with what amount of detail - it would be certainly an issue if you had committed an immigration offence or got your ILR fraudulently.

I am not get my ILR fraudulently, I have Uc credit in Covid 19 period in this time my mother died , I fly with last plane to my country because all airport are closed because of pandemic COVID 19 and I stay therefore 7 months, in second month of absence universal credit contact by email I said to them I am abroad ,they say you need pay back this amount because we can paid for just one month abroad ,
After 7 month I found fly to come back in February 2021

So you have nothing to worry about as far as you paid back the extra amount to DWP.

About this 210 days absences in 5 years qualified period ( I was travel to my country because my mother died in this time there is lockdown in uk and in my country I can’t come back )
Do I need to write cover letter about this explain to HO , about this long absence one time .

And about debt management (DWp) I had universal credit in covid 19 period and when my mother died iwas fly with last fly from uk because was lockdown uk after UC message me you have 1 month outside uk we can paid and other month you need paid back (overpayment 500£)
I paid all 500£
Did I need to mention it in my citizenship application.?
I have another question about warning letter in airport Heathrow from hmrc costumer about 400 cigarettes seized , do I need to mention in my application?
