The first year's council tax was not paid.

Post by pkm04 » Thu Jun 13, 2024 3:53 pm

Hi All,

Apologies if this is already answered (I couldn't find one in the forum).

I will be applying for ILR in the next couple of months, however, I do not have proof of council tax paid for the first 8 months as I was residing with friends and paid directly to him (my name was not included in the bill). I have paid council tax for the rest of the years in my name. In this case, will the P60 and bank statement alone be enough to prove proof of address? Will this cause any issue?

Thanks in Advance.:)

Why do you need to prove address?

Are you applying for ILR with dependents?

Outside UK

Post by pkm04 » Sat Jan 18, 2025 3:14 pm

Hi all,

I’m due to apply for ILR in mid-May. What I have realised now is that in one of my applications for an extension of my skilled worker visa, I had made the mistake of not mentioning the number of days I was outside the UK which was more than 60 days. Now that I have to mention all my travels outside the UK, will it cause any issues during my ILR decision process? I’m bit worried.

Thanks.
