Applying for ILR for a family of 4 with an autistic kid

Post by thamarisk » Mon Feb 03, 2025 11:47 am

Good morning everyone,

We are a family of 4; husband is Tier 2/ skilled worker visa holder and kids and I have the dependant visa status. we are going to apply for the ILR visa as a single application for all the 4 of us and choose the priority option. We are getting all our paperworks ready and we are perplexed as to whether we should disclose about my son being an autistic kid going to a special needs school in our cover letter.

Please reply as to how we go about it.

No, it is irrelevant to the application.

There is NO requirement for declaring this.

What do you believe the benefit of declaring this will be??

You are completely overthinking.

This has no relevance to your ILR at all.
