Dependent visa for an unmarried partner

Post by Jane009 » Wed Feb 12, 2025 8:16 pm

Hi,

I live in UK since 2019 and currently I am on skilled worker visa, I want to apply dependent visa for my partner (Unmarried) who also lives in UK since 2021 and currently my partner is on PSW visa valid till 2025 May. We live togther since 2.5 years and have bank statemets as address proof. Would there be any complications or chances of rejection If I apply this visa. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

You need more than just bank statements to prove subsisting relationship.

You have to show evidence of joint financial and relationship commitments and HO would expect to see things like utility bills, tenancy agreements, any other official letters to each of you at the same address, all in addition to bank statements.
