Question asked for Applying for my son's British passport

Hi,
I have received an email from the passport office asking the below question


We need a written explanation to say why they are not applying for a passport in their country of birth. And any evidence you can supply to show that they are living in the UK.
Sign and date your explanation and send it to us using the details below.
We need proof of their address
You need to send us evidence as proof of their address in the UK. This evidence should have a date within the last year or still be a valid document.

My Son was born in India, i have submitted his Indian passport and he has been staying here since last 6.5 years.

What should i reply to this question ? Any help , pointers will be appreciated.
