FROM ILR TO BRITISH PASSPORT

Dear Team,

I understand once ILR I achieved we need to be in you for 1 year to apply for British citizenship/ passport.

1. What are the other requirements in this 1 year time that we have to take care to be compliant to secure British citizenship and passport .

2. Like once ILR is secured can you be jobless( if lost job or want to take break, ) for that 1 year and still be fine with applying for British citizenship and passport. ?

The 12 months on ilr has a 90 day absence limit.

Employment is NOT a requirement for citizenship
