Approximate cost for dependent visas

Hi everyone.

My then girlfriend and child were not mentioned in my SKWV application two years ago as they were not joining me in the UK. We have since married this year and I would like to bring them as dependents.

Wil the failure to declare them in my main application be potential grounds for the refusal of their dependent visas?

No, why would that affect them. Like you said "girlfriend" at the time. Girlfriends could be temporary. People date for short periods and move on. That's not a relationship that needs to be declared anywhere in the world.
But if the child is yours and you didn't declare you had a dependant, hmmmm. That could be seen as deception or withholding material information.

Is answering “No” to the question, Are your partner or children applying with you? Tantamount to deception or withholding information? I ask because this is what was asked in my application.

Should I have answered this question “yes”, even though neither my girlfriend or child were applying with me?

Also, is there a way to show the HO when I’m applying for my dependents, that I was not being deceptive in the main application when I did not mention my child and then girlfriend?

Hi everyone,

I have roughly 2 years and 3 months remaining on my skilled worker visa. I plan to apply for dependent visas for wife and child within a month or two. To this end, can someone help me approximate how much the total cost is likely to be? The application will be made outside the UK. I ask so that I can budge/prepare accordingly.

Is it safe to assume the length of the dependent visa, when granted, will be no more than the remaining time on my skilled worker visa?

They pay the visa fees for 5 year visa but won't get a visa for 5 years. IHS should be for the visa duration they do receive.

Yes, their visa will expire at the same time as yours.
