Received Atlas MN1 approval email but not physical certificate.

Hi,

I registered my daughter as British Citizen using MN1 form on 2/6/2025 and received the approval email from Atlas on 25/8/2025.

I have seen many people received the certificate through post either before the email or never get the email.

Does anyone know how long will the certificate takes to arrive? Or how can I track down the certificate so I will be able to apply passport for her? Anyone has faced this situation before? Will the Royal Mail lost the certificate…

We have an urgent travel situation. Can’t apply a British passport for her until we received the physical certificate.

She has another passport to go out from the country but my worry is she can’t enter the UK without the British passport.

Unfortunately, you have no option but to wait for royal mail to deliver the certificate. You cannot speed up this process.

If the child has a valid visa, they can travel and just explain when returning.
