Applying ILR based on 10 year route (while still on Skilled visa)

Hi Folks,

I first arrived Uk on 2 sep 2015 (initially on Tier 2 ICT and then to skilled worker visa) and now eligible to apply for ILR based on 10 year route.
I am currently on skilled worker visa until Oct 2026.

My question is:
If I apply for ILR SET LR now..and just in case(god forbid) its rejected, can I still continue on my existing Skilled Worker Visa which is valid till Oct 2026?

Nothing happens to your current visa. It remains valid until expiry date!
