Documents required for naturalisation application (5-year route)

Post by PS97 » Sat Oct 25, 2025 2:01 pm

Hi all,

I am in the process of applying for my UK naturalisation, qualifying through the 5-year route.
I have previously used this forum to clarify queries related to this topic and am therefore appreciative of the guidance offered by the community here.

Please can you let me know if I have submitted all required documents to support my naturalisation application by looking at the lists below?

My form asked me to submit the following documents to support the application:

1. Colour copies of all pages of the passport or
travel document for X from India. This includes
blank pages. The copies must be in page order,
and clear enough so all text can be read easily.

2. Proof of living in the UK for X for 5 years if applying in your own right or 3 years if applying as the spouse
of a British Citizen

3. The degree certificate for X to prove the level of English language required

4. Two referee declarations for X

To this end, I plan to submit the following documents to support my application:

1. Colour copies of all pages of both my current Indian passport and expired Indian passport (used to enter the UK)

2. Flight tickets for all international trips undertaken whilst on my Tier 2/Skilled worker visas and ILR

3. Front/Back images of all Tier 2/Skilled worker BRPs held

4. eVisa for ILR

5. UK university degree certificate, academic transcript and HEAR

6. Life in the UK test result

7. Latest employer letter and last 3 months payslip

8. NI and Tax record (monthly amounts paid) from 2020 till present

Please let me know if this is an exhaustive list and if any documents are missed out.

Thanks!
