Reset of dependents ILR time

I came to UK in June 2023 on GTV. My GTV is expiring in Jan 2026. I will need to apply an extension of 6 months till i reach June 2026, when I qualify for ILR. I have 2 dependents with me as well who came with and have visa expiring on same dates. Now the question is:

1- if we all apply 6 months extension now, and then after 6 months i become eligible for ILR, can I apply for 2 years extension to my dependants visa so that they reach their 5 year threshold for ILR? I heard some where the minimum extension on dependents visa after ilr of main applicant is 3 years.

2-If me and dependents apply for 1 year extension in Jan 26, and then I apply for my ILR in June 26 and then extend my dependents visa for 2 years in Jan 27, will they remain on the same 5 year dependent route to ilr or their time will reset as at they would have dependents of settled person visa?

3- if the main applicant gets ILR while dependent have still time left on their visa, can they continue that visa or they need to renew it at same time as main applicant is getting ILR?

If you all apply for a 6 months extnsion, that is what tbey get. They won't get a visa expiry after your gtv visa.

Once you apply for or get ILR, any gtv dependent visa extension will be for 3 years as stated in the immigration rules

You will not be able to apply for a 6 months extension on your GTV. The extension can be done between 1 and 5 years. https://www.gov.uk/global-talent

There is no statutory requirement to apply for ILR in exactly 3 years under the route, or in 5 years for dependants.
