Hi, I am applying ILR through 10 years route. However, I have few points on my driving license.
- 6 points for driving without car insurance. My car insurance did not get auto-renewed for some reason and since I had moved house, I did not get any letter for renewal. So was unaware that the car insurance is not renewed. My car was impounded by police in 2024 and I paid required fine and got my car back as well. However, there are 6 points on my driving license. I am not banned from driving and still able to drive the car.
- I have 3 points for crossing the traffic lights when traffic lights just turned red. Unfortunately police were very close and they caught my. I had to pay some fine and I got 3 points for this.
With this details, can you please suggest if I can apply for ILR and do I need to disclose these details. If I disclose, will I still get the ILR?

Hi, I am applying for ILR through 10 years route. My dependents are living in UK with me since Nov-2018. So they have completed 7 years continuously in UK.
Before that they lived in UK
- for 3 months in 2017 from April-17 till Jun-17. During this period my wife was on separate Tier 2 ICT (not my dependent) and my daughter was dependent on her ICT. From last 2 years, my wife and daughter are dependent on my Skilled worker visa.
- 11 months from Jan-2016 till Dec-2016 - My wife had her own separate Tier 2 ICT visa during this period. And my daughter was dependent on her ICT visa.
- 1 month in Aug-2015 - My wife and daughter came to UK on my dependent visa.
Do they qualify for ILR as well with me?

Hi, I am going to apply for ILR through 10 years route. I am in UK from May-2015. However, I don't have any address proof from May-2015 till Nov-2016 since I was staying in shared house, so no rent agreement, no utility bills. I don't have bank statement for 2015 and 2016 and I think banks also save bank statement for only last 7 years. So unable to produce bank statements also for 2015 and 2016.
I have payslips as well for all the year and it does have address on it.
Are payslips accepted as valid for address proof for ILR application?
If not, then I can try to get letter from my company showing my addresses for 2015 and 2016. Will this be accepted for ILR application as valid address proof?

What is the visa category / immigration history since 2017??
They need 5 years as your dependent to qualify for ILR.

You do NOT need address proof or payslips etc for long residence ILR!!

No need to disclose. There is no effect on ILR
