temporary arrangement for gurdian for chile

Hello All,

We would like to know if both parents of the child need to travel outside UK for some family emergency, can they leave the daughter with close relative (as guardian) for 2 weeks in the UK so that she can attend her school.

Do they need to inform the UK government immigration or any one ?
