ILR application for Spouse and Child

Hello,

please I need some help and advise for my wife and daughter.

When is the earliest I can apply for ILR for both of them?

I am a British citizen and my wife and daughter are both Canadian. They applied for a spouse visa from Canada and got the approved.

Wife Entry Visa
valid from - 22-02-2021
valid until - 23-05-2021

Daughters Entry Visa
valid from - 22-01-2021
valid until - 22-04-2021

They both arrived the UK on the 13-03-2021 and the collected their first BRP card which have the validity as below

Wife BRP
Issued - 08-02-2021
valid until - 22-11-2023

Daughters BRP
Issued - 22-01-2021
valid until - 22-10-2023

Their second VISA extension was applied for on the 20-Sept-2023 and it was approved on 16-Jan-2024.

Finally, once my wife is approved for ILR, I know she can immediately apply for British citizenship. But I am unsure what to do with my daughter who is 8 years old. Kindly advise

They will become eligible for ILR from 13-03-2021 + 5 years - 28 days.

After they both get ILR, your wife can naturalise as British using form AN --> https://www.gov.uk/apply-citizenship-in ... w-to-apply

Your child can be registered as British at the same time using form MN1 --> https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... n-form-mn1
