Hello,
Please i have a question .
My wife, and myself and my daughter that was born outside the UK is due to apply for citizenship by naturalization.
We came to the UK through skilled worker route and we both applied for ILR together at the same time .
Please, can I used the same form to apply for this citizenship by naturalization or my child needs to use the different form which is MN1 ?
Thank you

If you wish to apply all together and adults satisfy the requirements for adult naturalisation then you both fill in the online AN form and at the end add child under 18 which will adjust the form to MN1 requirements.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.

On or after 3rd Nov 2025, though waiting for a day or so won't hurt.

You can use the same referees, yes, as long as they respect the requirements.
You can apply from the 2 Nov 2025 as long as on the 3 Nov 2020 you were in the UK.

Hello ..
Please I have come with another question again .
I am applying with my wife and daughter for the naturalisation as a British through the ILR route . Out of the document that we are asked to submit for my daughter supporting document is a consent form . There is no place on the application form to download this and do I really need this consent form since we are doing everything in one Application ?

I know it sounds odd...
The child is the applicant for registration, not you the parent.
As child is a minor and can't apply for anything they need consent.

At Zimba , please i need a help with a question .
I literally dont know how to post a new post so I thought replying here .
I applied for a British passport for my daughter that was born in Nigeria .
The pathway to her settlement was through me which is her mom and she got her naturalization 4 weeks ago . Now the HMPO is asking for a supporting document so they could issue her UK passport . They want her birth certificate. Should I send the one that was issue when she was born in Nigeria ? Will they accept that ?

Thanks for the prompt response.
I was confused when the email that was sent from the HMPO said I can get one from the Gov.uk website or GRO website as she wasn't born in the UK . She was born in Nigeria and she has Nigeria birth certificate.

Then send the Nigerian one.
The email is generic and she can't have a uk one if not born here anyway.
