LR application- now Legacy case - My Story - Ads Plz

Post by Dolly2 » Wed Apr 15, 2009 12:09 am

Hello all

Brief story - 17.5 years history in UK
Arrive Sept 1991
Student visa till 1993
Refund in 2004
Appealed, refused Nov 2004
Another app in 2005 as student visa support by friend
Refused in 2007
Appealed refused
Married in 2000
made app, refused in 2002
Appealed, hearing in 2005 (14 years)
withdraw appeal
applied for LR in 2004

I have been here for nearly 18years. Came as a minor (17) and was abused by my sponser's father (sexsually) and family members as slave. Back home, got abused (sexusally) from age of 8 year old by various male members of teh family and being victim of extrerme domestic voilence. Till now the thoughts gives me crinch and wished not to be borned.... Getting an opportunity to leave the violence behind but faced futher abuse.

Let my sponser's home after couple of years and left my life in hands of fate..... app refused due to lack of funds... Made another app as supported by friend--- refused var found good friend, got married but didn't work out as he thought I was his possession as well.... Soon got separated.....

Have made applicatoin to home office few times, took them at least 2.5 years to reply to each app, then appeal and tribunal. All this facade led to 14 years stay in this county. Now I have applied for long residency and beein waiting for reply for last 3.5 years.

You see lots of things about above child abuse on tv etc, how it effects people. Being the victim of this first hand, HO still things being age of 30 something it does not voilate my human rights and should be sent back. I would like to hear who some one can overcome the continous abuse very quickly. I have got medical reports from speciliast phystrists strongly advising that I should not be sent back. Have tried suicide few times.... being for counselling, nothing helps......

IS THERE ANY END OF THE WAIT. ALL I AM ASKING IS A CHANCE TO LIVE MY LIFE WITH SOME DIGINITY...

Spoke to HO today, they confirmed my case come under legacy.... still confused and concerned. For last 18 year all Ihave done is work (paying my taxes, no benefits), studying and supporting myself. I am hoping to be qualified as accountant this June, which as kept me going.... Not sure how long I can wait after June....

Did you get the questionnaire for legacy cases yet? That would be a sign that they are actually looking at your case. Otherwise you will just have to be patient - legacy cases are usually resolved positively, but not quickly. I think there is very little you can do to speed things up. Hang in there, and it should work out fine.

yes you can see on surgery day but you have to make an appoint before. you can also discuss your matter with all paper with MP secretry before surgery, this can also help you.
