Due to be attending an AIT hearing (as sponsor for a relative who was denied a visitor visa)
Some of the paperwork I was going to submit arrived late - so I contacted the AIT who said it would be OK to drop of the file 2-3 days before the hearing.
Was going to do it on Monday 25th May. Just realised they are closed on Monday (Bank Holiday) for 2 days - and the hearing is on Wed 25th May - so the earliest they can accept the file off me is 9am on the morning of the appeal!!!
Call Centre MIGHT be open on Tuesday
1. Is that too short notice?
2. What are the likely options we have?
I did observe when sitting in on a few hearings last year that the judge accepted 'new' evidence from sponsors/representatives during the hearings, or asked them if they had any new evidence to support their appeal.
Ive immaculately prepared for this - but think I might have blown it at the death!!!
Help is most appreciated
