Thanks for pointing that out, wanderer. I did wonder why there was such emphasis put on him not returning by the ECO.
My husband will definitely be returning to Turkey at the end of his visit, as we don't have the money for a Spousal or settlement visa yet. I have printouts of possible flights, but I was advised against booking in case his appeal takes too long, as we've now probably lost the £140 it cost to book his flight out. What kind of proof would be sufficient to an ECO to get rid of any doubt my husband would return? He works in Turkey and he did submit a letter from his employer saying when he needed to be back at work, property deeds as he owns a property in Turkey, Insurance papers to show he works there every summer. I can't think of what else could prove this.
Also, if it's expressly not allowed for someone to change their visa, why is it possible? Seems a bit daft to me!
