Can I submit my visa applaction without my new certificate

Post by timefly » Thu Nov 12, 2009 9:59 pm

Hi everyone,

My case is very special. Could everyone give me some advice or suggestion? Thank you in advance.

My employer already got the sponsor license and issued a certificate for me two week ago. However, I found the minimum wage rate stated on code of practice. The claimed salary on the certificate didn't reach the minimum rate. I talked with my employer and he is happy to raise my current salary and make a new contract. But a new problem is encountered when HR manager update the salary on the certificate. She had already canceled the old one and want to re-issue a new one. However, she is unable to re-issue the new one as my sponsor issue only one in the first year. My visa will be expired on 20th. I have to submit my application. Could anyone give me any advice how I should submit my application so that the visa officer can wait for my new certificate number?

Hi,

This has already happened to someone else on this forum, do check other threads for more information.

I think your employer can contact the UKBA and ask for permission to issue more certificates (I think they can do this over the phone, not sure though, ask them to ring the employers helpline).

No point applying without a new certificate of sponsorship, it will surely get rejected. Old CoS had information related to lower wage, so even if they accept the certificate, the application will be rejected. They are very strict on this.

Hope you can sort something out soon,

Good Luck

Hi ap007
Thank you for your reply. I had intend to supplement my new ceritificate number before the visa officer makes decision. Does anyone know if the number can be as supplementary evidence of my application? Or say, I have to re-apply as soon as I get it?

I would avoid applying until you have the new CoS because you are likely to be rejected. Some consulates etc use excuse to refuse an application and grab your money.
