Your understanding of HO rules is correct. You need not provide them degree in relation to points to be claimed for education if you intend to use the same degree as was used at the time of initial approval. See Para 89 (Page 18) of the Guidance Notes:hotmale wrote:Dear all
I am going to apply for the xtension soon. AGE 20(PASSPORT),DEGREE(30 CERTFICATE N MARK SHEETS), 25 PONITS SALARY(PAYSLIPS N STATEMENTS), 5 WORKING IN UK = 80 POINTS.
I have all the paperwork ready and need expert advise. Because so many people have told me so many different things. I M SO CONFUSED PLEASE CLEAR THE FOLLOWING POINTS FOR ME.
1. Home office says if you have provided the docs during 1st stage you have no need to send them again. However all the forums suggest to send the degree paper again. I have no problem sending this however TO CLAIM ENGLISH POINTS I PROVIDED A LETTER FRM MY COLLEGE do I need to send the letter from college again or should i send the old letter with Jan2008 date. AND IF NOT THEN WHAT SHOULD I WRITE ON THE FLR FORM AS AN EVINDENCE (e.g provided last time WILL THIS WORK ).
Similarly you do not have to provide any proof for english language criteria if you met the same at the time of original application (the app form clearly provides for the same)Documents required – all applications
89. An applicant who has previously been given permission to stay in the United Kingdom under Tier 1 (General) or the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme, and previously scored points for the same qualification for which he/she wishes to claim points in his/her current application, does not need to send evidence of his/her qualification again.
Applicant is currently in the United Kingdom as a Tier 1 (General)
migrant, a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrant or as a Highly Skilled Migrant
Programme participant and has previously satisfied the English
Language requirement
