My question is: shall we submit evidence of my pregnancy in order to try and prevent his detention/deportation? He has applied for his status in 2007, but his doc. were mixed up with somebody else's by the HO, and only untangled last Monday! We have a letter from the HO, where they admit identity mix-up and apologise for long delay. Boyf worked for the same company for the last 7 years (he was given work permit on his previous leave), but on Monday was issued with ARC with "Employment forbiden" writen accross it.
Is it worth writing a letter to the HO explaining situation (pregnancy) and asking to take this into consideration, when deciding his case? Can I cite Rights to a family life or Human Rights?
We are planning to do all the paperwork ourselves, as a solicitor we've employed earlier wants only money- I would rather spend it on my baby, especially, that I am the only one able to work (not for long, though!) at the moment.
Could not sleep last night, as I was thinking about next Tuesday, or any other "Reporting Days", when my Boyf will be arrested and detained/deported, and I will be left here pregnant or holding a newborn in my arms
