I'm seriously considering a move to the UK because of the better climate for gay men (civil partnership being very important). Now, before doing something reckless I would like some honest opinions about how are openly gay people treated at work and during job interviews.
If possible I'd like that non-gay people share their views on working with a gay colleague.
I am aware that in this economic climate I would probably get a worse job than I have now. But if asked, during a job interview, why do I wish to change my current job and country of residence should I just say "personal reasons" or lay out the truth. How many negative points does one get for saying he's gay during a job interview.
Thanks
